I study the decline of polar sea ice, and recently conducted a seven-month field campaign in Antarctica.

My specific research interests concern microwave remote-sensing of sea ice properties, modelling of its snow cover, and Arctic amplification.

my carbon canoe

The trip was a disaster - read about it here.
